Massage Therapy

As a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) since 2016, I bring a diverse range of experience to my practice, including a strong background in both deep tissue and relaxation massage from my time working in a spa and athletic clinic. This experience has helped me develop a deep understanding of the importance of both relaxation and therapeutic touch in promoting overall wellness. After recently returning from maternity leave, I’m excited to continue offering personalized care, now with an expanded understanding of the physical and emotional experiences of motherhood.

I have a focused interest in treating pre and postnatal women and have a comprehensive understanding of the physical and emotional changes that accompany pregnancy, childbirth, and early infancy. My approach combines deep tissue therapy, relaxation techniques, and other therapeutic modalities to address specific needs, reduce discomfort, alleviate stress, and promote overall wellness.

Whether you’re seeking relief from pregnancy-related aches and pains, recovering after childbirth (including C-section scar work), or simply looking to alleviate general discomfort, my treatments are designed to meet the unique needs of each individual.

I ensure that all treatments are always with a focus on safety, comfort, and symptom relief. My goal is to help you feel your best during every stage of this healing journey—empowering you to nurture your body with ease and confidence.

From an early age, I have been deeply interested in health, wellness, and the intricacies of the human body. I completed my diploma in massage therapy at the West Coast College of Massage Therapy, in New West. Before pursuing massage therapy, I worked as a Registered Holistic Nutritionist, and a Birth and Postpartum Doula.

My approach is centered on addressing the root causes of dysfunction and developing personalized treatment plans to restore balance. I have a particular passion for prenatal and postpartum treatments. Additionally, I have experience with a diverse range of patients and conditions, including stress management, headaches, whiplash, postural support, tendonitis, and more. I utilize a variety of techniques, including Swedish Massage, Trigger Point Release, Myofascial Release, Joint Mobilizations, and Neuromuscular techniques.

When I’m not in the clinic, you might find me tending to my garden or experimenting with new recipes and baking healthy treats in the kitchen.

I’ve been passionate about sports and physical activity for as long as I can remember. Growing up playing a variety of sports sparked a deep interest in the human body. That passion led me to pursue a Bachelor of Kinesiology at the University of the Fraser Valley, where I gained a strong foundation in movement science, rehabilitation, and human performance. After graduating, I worked as a Kinesiologist for five years, helping clients recover from injuries and reach their physical goals.

During that time, I noticed a recurring need for hands-on soft tissue work as part of the recovery process. That realization inspired me to become a Registered Massage Therapist. I went on to study at the West Coast College of Massage Therapy and graduated in 2018. I was also lucky enough to teach an Orthopaedic class and run the athletic massage outreach from 2019 - 2024.

My treatment style is deep, hands-on, and often includes active components. I am passionate about injury rehabilitation (whether from trauma, overuse, or sports-related issues) and I’ve seen first-hand how effective massage therapy can be in accelerating recovery and improving performance.

special interests: running/lifting/performance injuries, TMJ/TMD, postpartum return to performance/c-section recovery

My biggest passion is getting people moving again, and feeling in control of their bodies. Physiotherapy and rehab/strength and conditioning is super important to me, because it can make or break someones pain or injury experience. I work with all different types of levels, ages and abilities, and nothing gives me greater fulfilment than helping people find joy in being active.

I have guided numerous athletes to return to sport, particularly in post op rehab of achilles ruptures, rotator cuff repair, ACL, meniscal, joint replacement, etc. I thoroughly enjoy bridging the gap between rehab and performance and focusing on strength and conditioning.

I completed my Bachelors of Kinesiology at University of the Fraser Valley, and my Master’s in Physiotherapy at UBC. My post graduate training has focused on, orthopaedic manual therapy, strength and conditioning, olympic lifting, biomechanics, TMJ, clinical pilates, women’s health (c-section rehab, pelvic floor) and functional dry needling/IMS. Further university/graduate certificates include Orthopaedic Manual Therapy, and Clinical Physiotherapy - Musculoskeletal Specialization at Curtin University in Perth, Australia.
